Really nice company, the whole process was fast and easy peasy.
Professional service and reasonable price considering they had to winch my car on the trailer.

This is a short run down to the Baltimore and Washington area, two or three days on the truck from anywhere in New York, and a well used one, since about 12,000 New Yorkers moved to Maryland in 2024. The part that takes planning is at the Maryland end, where the car has to be inspected before it can be titled, and the titling tax depends on getting that done within 60 days of the move.
Well inside those first 60 days. Maryland won’t title the car until it has passed a safety inspection at a licensed Maryland station, which needs the car there in person, so the delivery date decides how much of the window is left for it. For a New York car six model years old or newer, titling inside the 60 days costs 2.5% of its value, the gap between the 4% Maryland credits for New York and its own 6.5%, but after them it’s the full 6.5%. The car gets to the inspection on its New York plates, so keep the New York registration and insurance until the Maryland plates go on.

Shipping a car from New York to Maryland takes an estimated 2 to 3 days. From upstate to the Baltimore and Washington area is about 320 to 410 miles, less than a day of driving, and the rest of the time goes to the other cars the driver is collecting and dropping off.
If you find damage at delivery, note it on the bill of lading before signing. We will manage the claim with the carrier from there.
You can leave up to 100 pounds of personal items in one piece of luggage, placed in the trunk or cargo area. Some carriers will accept additional weight for an added fee; we can arrange this for you after booking.
Every shipment is insured by the carrier under federal cargo liability requirements.
Nothing is charged at booking. The deposit is charged 7 days before your pickup window opens, and the remaining balance is paid to the driver at delivery.
The truck waits until the road is safe to drive, and your pickup or delivery date moves with it. We'll confirm the driver's new window with you as soon as the road reopens. Snow on the mountain passes and in the northern states, and hurricanes along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, are the usual causes.
You can cancel for free up to 7 days before pickup. After that, the deposit is non-refundable.
