It is a really professional company, and the service was great, and we also really value the environmental contributions they are doing. Thank you guys!! Will move my car again with you ❤️
Professional service and reasonable price considering they had to winch my car on the trailer.
We had to send the car back to the dealership in Georgia and Sequoia did a really great job for us. Highly recommended!!!

Most of the year a car leaves Seattle like it would any big city, and the two things worth planning around are the truck hours downtown, if that’s where the car is parked, and the mountain passes in winter. Going south, the truck runs I-5 the length of Oregon and over the Siskiyou Pass into California. Going east, toward Denver, Chicago or the East Coast, it usually starts by climbing over the Cascades on I-90 at Snoqualmie Pass.
Outside the weekday rush hours, and most easily in the evening, overnight or on a Sunday. Seattle keeps vehicles 30 feet or longer, and a car carrier is well over that, from moving in its downtown core between 6 and 9 in the morning and between 3 and 7 in the afternoon on weekdays, while the hours in between, and Saturdays, need a city permit. The core runs from First Avenue up to Fifth (Eighth north of Madison Street), between Yesler Way and Lenora Street. The rule stops at that line, so if your car is parked downtown, meeting the truck a few blocks outside it takes the clock out of the pickup.
In winter it can, though usually by hours rather than days. Snoqualmie gets avalanche control all winter, which means the state stops traffic, brings the snow down on purpose and clears the road, and those holds typically last half an hour to two hours. The Siskiyou is the highest point on I-5, and in winter Oregon often allows only chained vehicles over it and stops traffic for up to an hour at a time so the plows can catch up. A heavy storm can hold either pass much longer, and when that lands on your date, the truck waits and your pickup or delivery moves with it. That’s why, for a winter move, we’d leave some give in the delivery date.

Shipping a car from Seattle typically costs $0.70 to $1.35 per mile, depending on distance and destination. In totals, that is $900 to $1,250 to San Francisco, $1,300 to $1,650 to Chicago, and $2,000 to $2,350 to New York. Your quote is locked for 28 days from the moment you book.
Most shipments out of Seattle take 3 to 8 days door to door. California, Nevada and Colorado run 3 to 5 days, Chicago and Texas 4 to 7, and Atlanta and the East Coast 5 to 8. Those are estimates, since the arrival day depends on the load a driver is building around your car.
Seattle to San Francisco is 808 miles and quotes $900 to $1,250 for open transport, with an estimated 3 to 4 days door to door. The truck runs I-5 the whole way, over the Siskiyou Pass just north of the California line, where Oregon often holds traffic in winter snow, and a long hold moves the delivery date.
The truck waits until the road is safe to drive, and your pickup or delivery date moves with it. We'll confirm the driver's new window with you as soon as the road reopens. Snow on the mountain passes and in the northern states, and hurricanes along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, are the usual causes.
Nothing is charged at booking. The deposit is charged 7 days before your pickup window opens, and the remaining balance is paid to the driver at delivery.
You can cancel for free up to 7 days before pickup. After that, the deposit is non-refundable.
