We had to send the car back to the dealership in Georgia and Sequoia did a really great job for us. Highly recommended!!!
Really nice company, the whole process was fast and easy peasy.
Professional service and reasonable price considering they had to winch my car on the trailer.

San Francisco is a hard city for a big truck to get around in but an easy one to leave, because once your car is loaded it only has to cross the Bay to reach the interstates. From there I-5 runs north to Washington and south toward Arizona and Texas, three of the states Californians move to most, and I-80 climbs over the Sierra for Denver, Chicago and the East Coast. Heading out over the Bay Bridge costs nothing. The bridge only tolls trucks coming into the city, about $30 for a five-axle rig, so the toll is paid on the way in to collect your car and is already in your quote.
Often it can’t, and that’s the city’s rule rather than the driver’s choice. San Francisco keeps heavy vehicles off a list of streets it considers too narrow, too sharply curved or too steep for them, under weight limits a loaded carrier is far over. Parking is ruled out too, since trucks that size can’t park on any residential street, hillside or flat. So the handover usually happens on a wider through street nearby, where the truck is allowed to be, and the car makes the last few blocks on its own wheels.

Shipping a car from San Francisco costs about $0.65 to $1.65 a mile on an open carrier, with the higher rates on the shorter runs. That comes to $800 to $1,100 for Las Vegas, $1,450 to $1,800 for Houston and $1,900 to $2,200 for New York, and once you book, the price holds for 28 days.
A car shipped out of San Francisco usually spends 2 to 9 days on the truck. Las Vegas and Phoenix take 2 to 4 days, Seattle 3 to 4, Houston and Chicago 4 to 7 between them, and New York and Miami 5 to 9. These are estimates, because the driver is collecting and delivering other cars along the way.
Shipping a car from San Francisco to Seattle costs $1,100 to $1,450 on an open carrier. It's about 810 miles, most of them on I-5, and takes an estimated 3 to 4 days on the truck.
Nothing is charged at booking. The deposit is charged 7 days before your pickup window opens, and the remaining balance is paid to the driver at delivery.
You can cancel for free up to 7 days before pickup. After that, the deposit is non-refundable.
The truck waits until the road is safe to drive, and your pickup or delivery date moves with it. We'll confirm the driver's new window with you as soon as the road reopens. Snow on the mountain passes and in the northern states, and hurricanes along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, are the usual causes.
Wash the car so its condition is easy to record, photograph it from each corner, and leave about a quarter tank of fuel. Take out anything above the 100 pound personal item allowance, and take your toll transponder such as FasTrak, E-ZPass or SunPass off the windshield, because toll gantries can read it while the car rides the truck. Have a working key ready for the driver.
Every shipment is insured by the carrier under federal cargo liability requirements.
